Crochet Lovely Jasmine Cowl

The Crochet Jasmine Cowl is my most iconic designs so I’m bringing it back as a lovely Valentine’s Day pattern!

Inspiration

The Crochet Jasmine Cowl is one of my most interesting designs, not only because of the amazing jasmine stitch but also because it is just the right size! It is small enough for you to make it in a jiffy, but it is big enough to stand out and cause quite an impression.

The Crochet Lovely Jasmine Cowl, the perfect accessory for Valentine's Day

It is such a lovely project and I couldn’t believe I didn’t have one, so I decided to make one to wear on my Valentine’s Day.

Project

As you probably know by now, I only use Drops Air to make this stitch. It is just so light that whatever I make, it just drapes perfectly (don’t forget I even made a vest with this stitch!). Furthermore, its fuzziness just makes the flowers look full and absolutely gorgeous. In short, to me, this yarn is the perfect match for this stitch, so I’m sticking with it.

And believe it or not… I still had leftovers from the Sweet Knit Sweater, so this seemed like the right moment to use them. 🙂

A lot of people have asked me to teach this stitch. For that reason, I did a photo tutorial on it that I published as a series of blog posts. But the time has come for me to try and put my best face forward and finally do a video tutorial on it! 😀

So my Valentine’s Day gift to you is the complete (and I mean from slip knot to weaving ends) video tutorial on how to make this beautiful cowl! You can find it just before the written instructions, which are also available below.

Just a small disclaimer… It is my first video, so it will surely have space for improvement. Also, I recorded it in Portuguese. But don’t feel put out by it. The movements of my hands are still pretty universal. 😉 I hope you enjoy this pattern and I wish you a lovely Valentine’s Day!
