Crochet Easy Textured Cowl
The Crochet Easy Textured Cowl was my contribution to the Crochet for Me Bundle!
Inspiration
Every year I say I’m going to make conscious decisions to start my gift crocheting early. I also try to narrow down the recipients to a number I know I can handle. That way I can finish early and not have any crafting stress around the holidays.
And every year I find myself squeezing the last stitches of a holiday gift in between making meals and deserts.
But once all that commotion is done and the kitchen is usable again, do you know what I want to do? Make something new just for me! And apparently, I’m not alone in this sentiment.
Crochet For Me Bundle
That’s why I joined 40 of my crochet designer colleagues and created the Crochet for Me Bundle. It was chock full of 56 individual patterns, never before offered in a bundle or for free, that gave you a wide range of patterns that will suit you from head to toe. 🙂
All sorts of patterns were included! From hats and ear warmers to sweaters and shawls, a skirt, socks and slippers, and even a pillow for your lounging pleasure.
Crochet Easy Textured Cowl
My contribution to this crochet bundle was an Easy Textured Cowl.
It just takes one ball (yes, just one!) of Rowan Big Wool, a super bulky 100% merino wool. The merino makes this yarn super soft on the skin.
I wanted this project to be super satisfying so it uses only two crochet stitches but you’ll still get an amazing textured fabric. And because of this yarn’s chunkiness, you’ll whip it up in just one hour!
I made mine in the color Prize, but there are more to choose from. You can see the complete range of colours here.
So all in all, this cowl is just the perfect quick and easy make to gift yourself!
And the Easy Textured Cowl was just one of the patterns included in the Crochet For Me Bundle.
